Building a Gin & Fizz Van isn’t a quick job! Finding a compromise between fun, functional and stylish can be difficult. After hours of the team disputing every detail from colours to cocktails we managed to come to an agreement on pretty much everything! And so the build began.
The tired paint on the outside had to come off whilst the carpentry took place on the inside. Every tiny aspect had to be considered from wiring to plumbing to ensure The Gin & Fizz Van can meet the requirements of all of our clients.
The Gin & Fizz Van finally received its first coat of primer and a new lease of life. From a tired old horse box it finally started to look like it might have some sort of future! A much needed motivator for the team after the endless hours of sanding.
Whilst the van was away getting a fresh coat of paint, the hard work continued in the workshop. Our bottle storage rack and worktop gradually took shape retaining an exposed wood finish for that vintage, rustic look.
With the Prosecco Van back in the workshop the interior could finally be fitted. With the drinks racks, electrics and worktops finally in place, the idea started to become a reality. The nerves of how the van would turn out began to settle as the rustic interior really came to life.
And with lighting installed the build is finally coming to an end! We’re adding the finishing touches over the next couple of weeks and will be starting to take bookings for the New Year and possibly even a last minute Christmas event or two.
We can’t wait to be out and about with the van helping clients make the most of their events. For more information or just a casual chat about the different ways you can use the van, why not give us a call or drop us an email?
Thanks for reading and look out for our first event blog post coming soon!
