The aims of NISA, as an association and a company, remain the same.  With this in mind, the Objects (that is, the aims) from NISA’s 20 November 1991 Memorandum of Association have been retained in Article 3 of the revised Articles.

Under the Companies Act 2006, the Memorandum of Association now only needs to contain one sentence recording the initial creation of the company. All other matters are now set out in the Articles of Association.
