The Blue Stack DV-Mega, essentially stand alone, Android device works best for all modes “stand alone” IOS is not compatible with D-Star, but works very well with other modes. There is also a Windows App that works extremely well on all modes.  You can also run via the micro USB with a Raspberry Pi using Pi-Star..

DV Dual band (VHF/UHF) radio shield


Also this shield is compatible with Arduino UNO or MEGA.

This module has a 10mW UHF and VHF transceiver on board. In combination with an Arduino you make your own stand-alone dual band hot spot. This module, together with the AMBE3000 forms the basis for a self-assembly D-Star kit transceiver.



Single Band (UHF) radio shield


The Raspberry PI radio hotspot is a module that you can install on your Raspberry PI directly.

This module has a modem and a 10mW transceiver on board. In combination with a Raspberry PI you make your own stand-alone hotspot. The module is available in Single band (UHF) and dual band (VHF/UHF) version.







The AMBE3000 creates the digital / analogue, and vice versa, conversion and coding of the microphone and loudspeaker signal. This board can be used as a AMBE Dongle as well.





DV GMSK shield

 This GMSK shield is compatible with the Arduino UNO and MEGA.

The combination Arduino shield and GMSK is a complete GMSK modem that can be used on a PC or Raspberry PI. The modem supports hotspot and repeater functionality, half and full duplex mode. The radio get connected to the present (mini DIN) 9600 bps packet connection.




BlueStack-Micro-plus (Android and Windows)

Bluestack board, supports DVMEGA  raspberrypi-boards(not included), both dual and singleband. With the BlueDV app, you have access to DMR, D-star (REF, XRF, DCS)

Firmware to be used for this mode is Version 3.07 beta

*note: new units will be switching off programming-mode after 1 minute. This is for MMDVM-mode. Older units; disconnect the wire on radio board after upgrade. Download the needed firmware for the DVMegaboard*

– switch de-activated (out), BlueDV mode, connecting to BlueDV App. BlueDV is an Android app, so perfect to use as mobile hotspot!!
Unit is always powered through the micro-usb, so use an adaptor or a battery-pack to power, or just power via the PC/USB-hub.

iBlueStackMicro+ (IOS)

Bluestack board, supports DVMEGA  raspberrypi-boards(not included), both dual and single band. With the BlueDV app, you have access to:

via Bluetooth: DMR and Fusion, NO DSTAR!!
via Windows or Linux (USB): DSTAR, Fusion and DMR.



This box shows the PCB’s of the BlueStack and DVMega board whilst using it.

BlueStack make things simple to use, completely tool-less device. No tools needed!!!

What do you get: all Plexiglass high gloss panels, and nice white studs for the pcb’s. Also 2 spare keys for closing the box are included.



NOTE: We use high quality filament for printing. All boxes are printed with NGEN, which can stand higher temperatures, and has a much nicer finish.


This BlueStack-Micro housing/box features a button (cap for the micro+ switch), and light-guides to give optimal indications from the outside. The box can be used for the BlueStack-Micro+ and the BlueStack-Micro-Basic. Please note that current version does not make the lights visible for the Basic version. Unit is 3d-printed ‘green’ pla, and environment friendly!! Be aware that PLA has temperature limitations, normal usage is not an issue.

Using the box is extremely simple, no tools needed, just click together, and enjoy. Colours available now are in PLA: Blue,  Silver-Metallic, Golden-Sun, and in NGEN: Black, White, Royal-Blue,  and Red (El-Rojo) .

This Original case is suitable for Raspberry pi 2 and 3 versions, there is room enough to add a dual- or single-band radio to the raspberry pi. If you want to mount an antenna, no problem, we drill a hole in the top-plate for the antenna..
